Family Legacy
There’s something y’all should know about me. My family isn’t just a family.
My family is a family of generations.

I’ve known great and great, great grandparents that were 103 and 104 years old. The stories I share, the recipes I cook, and the way of life I love didn’t begin with me.
They have been taught to me by the generations that came before me. My hope is that the generations that come after me will feel connected to our family stories the same way I feel connected to the family who came before me.
Remembrances Forgotten
As I’m traveling through life, I like to think about how things have changed in the world.
How my Granny Mac told me the early twenties were (the 1920s )…and I’m realizing that I can’t remember a lot of what she said anymore.
My children have heard some of the stories. My grandchildren haven’t. That makes me very sad.
They will never feel the connection to Granny.

And that’s why we’re here. So I can share my family’s life in a way to preserve it for my future generations.
And, hopefully, to inspire you to share your own story as well.
